Do you feel the pressure too?
3 things to do right now if you feel the pressure of your vision is too much.
I am not sure if you are like me… in pursuit of some big, giant idea or goal in your mind. Perhaps this goal is not even just in your mind… perhaps you feel a ‘calling’ deep inside you. Almost like a longing. Some unfulfilled void that pulls on your being.
For me… working with elite-level individuals and teams and unlocking their performance, simply wow… gives me goosebumps.
However… then it strikes.
The hesitation…
Holding back…
Doubting… perhaps some excuses…
Getting busy with a bunch of rubbish.
I feel a vibrating sensation on my chest, it affects my breathing, and shifts my state into stressed…
It makes me think…
Oh fuck…
What if… I don’t succeed…
What if… I succeed… (this scares me more)
The funny thing is… even though these things arise in me… I am urged to forge ahead.
And so, I remind myself.

Just the next step, Jody. Just execute the next idea or step.
The rest will take care of itself. No need for me to over-concern with how things will eventually turn out somewhere in the unknown future.
Just be here… now.

Jody… you can only do what you can do… nothing more to it. And you are either doing the things you are driven towards, or inspired to do or you are not. Getting busy with just being or looking busy serves no purpose.

The ‘pressure’ is not real… breathe in and through the sensations… feel them. Let my shoulders relax, there is no need to react to these sensations… in a bit, they will be different.
And so I find peace… in doing these things.
I am reminded the ‘pressures’ we often feel are not really real.
There are some real threats out there in this big scary world...
But the ones that come in pursuit of your goals, are the exact things to pay attention to, to take you and your performance to the next level.
